Lauren Collin Fine Art, Paper Sculpture
Lauren Collin Fine Art, Paper Sculpture
I am proud to represent my talented friend and artist, Lauren Collin. Lauren studied at the Atelier de Sevres in Paris, earned her interior design degree at ESAG Penninghen and then joined an architecture firm in Paris. In 2014, she produced a paper bas-relief for Giles & Bossier as part of the AD exhibition at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris. Since then, Lauren has been featured in Hotel Crillion, Paris, Christian Liaige in New York, and her work is available in fine galleries across Europe.
Lauren chooses paper as a means of expression, her unique process of using a scalpel by making notches to the paper, gives rise to the thickness of the sheet, scales that capture light on the surface. Then, the paper becomes sculpture. Light revealing its forms.
